PURPOSE:
The main components of the agrotechnical complex of rice grain cultivation on drip irrigation have been developed, which allows this culture to be widely introduced in the field crop rotation of farms of various forms of ownership.
DESCRIPTION:
A method of growing rice on drip irrigation in the south of Ukraine consists in growing rice in checks by prolonged flooding of the surface with a layer of water, which differs in that water is supplied directly to the root zone of plants through elastic tubes that have slit-like openings (droppers) along the entire length accurate dosing of mineral fertilizers taking into account the phases of growth and seasonal needs of plants.
ADVANTAGES:
There are no analogues in Ukraine.
RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:
Agro-industrial complex.
TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECT:
The use of the recommended agrotechnological complex allows obtaining rice grain productivity at the level of 6-8 t / ha, which, according to the generalized economic and energy assessment, is advisable in the conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine.
