Purpose. To create a software and hardware complex for real-time breathing control according to a personalized breathing formula and its subsequent use as an additional therapy to alleviate the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) together with, or instead of, medication, and to improve the accuracy of existing functional assessment methods.
Technical feurate. Usage mode: single user or multi-user. Duration of ECG recording – up to 10 minutes. The duration of breathing training is up to 30 cycles. The number of ECGs in the database is limited only by the computer storage capacity.

Technical and economic effect. The effects of stress disorder have a negative impact on a person’s relationships with others, family members and co-workers. This impact can be reduced by reducing the time required to provide qualified psychological assistance. The use of techniques by a practical psychologist to stabilize and self-regulate the client is important in the process of psychological counseling. Today, about 70% of clients seeking psychological help have increased levels of anxiety, depressive episodes, do not have constructive skills to cope with stress, and have psychosomatic problems. Such statistics lead to such negative social phenomena as job loss, an increase in the number of divorces, suicidal tendencies, etc. Increasing the effectiveness of psychological assistance even by 5-10% will significantly improve the state of socialization of thousands of Ukrainians, this will be especially important for patients diagnosed with post-traumatic syndrome.
Description. The developed technology makes it possible to use an electrocardiogram from the first lead not only to assess the psycho-emotional state of a person, but also to synchronously control the breathing formula (exhale-pause). The technology software includes already known breathing formulas for different purposes (relax, raise tone, reduce blood pressure, etc.). The use of technology makes it possible to effectively normalize the balance of a person’s autonomic nervous system (for example, reduce the level of anxiety) at the beginning of a psychological rehabilitation session or at home. The automated technology is built as a software and hardware complex for real-time breathing control according to a personalized breathing formula, while personalization is achieved through real-time processing of electrocardiograms of the first lead and the use of RR intervals as time coordinates of the breathing formula.
