In connection with the terrorist attacks of the Russian Federation on electricity generation, the Competition for scientific works and projects for funds from the EU program “Horizon 2020” has been extended until 23.59 on April 22, 2024.
Let us recall that on March 14, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced the second competitive selection of scientific works and projects using funds from the EU Horizon 2020 program.
Project proposals cover thematic areas such as:
- infrastructure projects for the development of TsKKNO;
- research scientific and technical works and projects;
- common innovative projects with business and Western Military Districts/NU;
- scientific and technical projects requiring the development of a feasibility study for our own innovative developments
Documents for the competition are submitted in the electronic module of the National Scientific Information System URIS
Main innovations of the Competition:
- increasing the volume of support for innovative projects and the development of the innovation ecosystem of Western Military Districts/NU;
- expansion of the circle of participants: Ukrainian participants of the Horizon Europe program will be able to fully participate in the competitive selection;
- preference for participants who, if they win the competition, also plan to submit a new application for funding under the Horizon Europe program;
preference for projects:
- the team of authors includes more young scientists;
- which will have a direct impact on the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine in the post-war period;
- in which scientists have been participating since 2014, after a long stay abroad, they returned and officially found work in Ukraine;
- free planning of research stages, without strict connection to the completion of annual budget periods.
