Innovative technology for recycling construction waste at the point of origin

Purpose. It is designed for recycling waste (various types of sheet or profile glass, plasterboard, tiles and ceramics, building bricks, plaster and other similar materials, slag from metallurgical and other industries) at the place of their generation.

Technical specifications. The dimensions of the unit without the on-board machine are 1.8*1*3 m. The unit performs medium and fine crushing of high-strength materials up to 130 mm in size, as well as grinding to a size of less than 0.5 mm. with the release of the required fine-class product. The processed material is used as a commercial product (glass granules for design, gypsum for agriculture, etc.) or raw material for production (glass for melting, gypsum for gypsum board, etc.). The capacity of the unit is up to 1 t/h depending on the physical and mechanical properties of the material.

Scope. Mining, construction, metallurgy, chemical and other industries.

Advantages. 1. Significantly reduces transportation costs. 2. Reduces the load on the landfill. 3. Reduces greenhouse gas emissions, improves the environment and preserves natural resources. 4. Small size of the production site. 5. Obtaining marketable products and secondary raw materials at the site of construction waste generation. 6. Use of secondary raw materials in a newly built complex. 7. Simplicity and speed of reinstallation at a new production site.

Technical and economic effect. According to the results of experimental studies, the potential for energy savings is up to 40% of active and 51% of reactive power.

Description. The technology of recycling construction waste at the point of origin can be implemented using a mobile crushing and sorting plant with a capacity of several tons per hour of fine-grained product. A distinctive feature is the horizontal layout of innovative small-sized equipment, which does not require powerful foundations and high-rise metal structures, ensuring ease of installation, dismantling and maintenance. The technology involves preliminary analysis and sorting of waste.
