Based on three Ukrainian universities, energy hubs will be opened for students’ education

Energy-innovative hubs will be created on the base of three universities – O. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Urban Economics, Y. Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University and the Pridneprovsk Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Students will be trained there to study energy efficiency, as well as provide workshops for experienced professionals.

The hubs are expected to become a platform for learning, sharing successful experiences and ideas in the field of energy efficiency. In addition, there will be detailed information on renewable energy, environmental protection and the effects of climate change.

The first will be to launch an energy hub at the O. Beketov KhNUMG.

The opening of the hubs is part of the “Energy Efficiency Reforms in Ukraine” project implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
