On December 17, 2019 at the Ukrainian Catholic University will host a scientific seminar on “Scientometry and science evaluation. Scientific, technical and practical measurements”.
Three Scientist Practitioners will give a talk and answer your questions, including:
- What is Scientometry as a Science? What are its basic principles and tools?
- Can science be simply evaluated by the universal “scientometric” formula?
- Are scientists ready to disclose the advantages and disadvantages of using individual science instruments, or combinations of them, by abandoning stereotypical judgments?
- Are scientific institutions ready to develop alternative scientific communication practices and support openness (transparency) to scientific research?
