HEAT-INSULATING MATERIALS FROM RIGID POROUS STRUCTURE BASED ON SOLUBLE GLASS AND MINERAL FILLERS

PURPOSE:

For the preparation of water-resistant porous heat-insulating materials for general purposes with powder low-temperature technology using the multifunctional properties of liquid glass.

DESCRIPTION:

The development involves a combined method for preparing a raw material mixture based on fly ash of thermal power plants using an optimized formulation and mixing the initial powder components, “mixing” with soluble glass, transferring the composite system to a gel state, grinding and obtaining its individual fragmented elements, and subsequent thermal porization.

ADVANTAGES:

Unlike numerous existing analogues, the developed syrtz mass begins to harden at ordinary temperature already from the moment of its “mixing” with soluble glass. The proposed regulation allows you to process the composition in various ways with the formation of heat-insulating materials for wide use. The granular filler obtained by the developed technology can significantly replace expanded clay, granular polystyrene foam in the elements of enclosing structures, in light concrete and mortar, significantly reduce the weight of structural elements and increase heat transfer resistance.
