COMPLEX FLUX TECHNOLOGY GETTING

PURPOSE:

The developed technology is intended for the production of complex flux as a substitute for the fluxing part of the sinter mixture.

DESCRIPTION:

The developed technology for producing complex flux combines the production of lime and ferritic compounds during the sintering of combined granules on a conveyor machine. Combined granules are obtained by rolling iron ore material onto a previously moistened surface of limestone pieces. As charge materials for the production of complex fluxes, limestone with a particle size of 3-10 mm, iron ore magnetite concentrate and solid fuel (coke) with a particle size of 0-5 mm.

ADVANTAGES:

Replacing traditional fluxes with a complex flux makes it possible to increase the productivity of the sinter plant by 16.02%, increase the strength of the sinter, and also reduce the content of fines by 8.37% and solid fuel consumption by 1.5-2%. Implementation of the production technology is possible under the existing technological schemes of sinter plants without the need to install additional equipment, and also allows to obtain a complex flux of a given composition and properties.
