TECHNOLOGY OF BIOLOGICAL WASTE TREATMENT OF VARIOUS ORIGIN

PURPOSE:

For biological wastewater treatment.

DESCRIPTION:

Wastewater highly concentrated in organic substances is biologically treated in a system with step bioreactors with various oxygen conditions, which are equipped with carriers with microorganisms. In bioreactors, specific associations of microorganisms-destructors of organic substances are cultivated. In anaerobic bioreactors, the destruction of organic substances by 60-70% occurs under conditions of increased concentrations of the biomass of microorganisms – up to 40 g / dm3. Further, the wastewater is treated under anoxic conditions with a biomass concentration of up to 25 g / dm3. The decomposition of organic compounds continues, the formation of simple inorganic compounds and the denitrification process takes place. The final step is the aerobic process in a bioreactor with immobilized microorganisms, in which the removal of organic pollutants is more than 95%, nitrification and purification of water from phosphorus compounds occur.

ADVANTAGES:

Significant efficiency of wastewater treatment for chemical, biological oxygen consumption, the concentration of suspended solids, nitrogen compounds and other pollutants and bringing quality indicators of treated wastewater to the requirements of discharge into natural water bodies; high oxidative power due to the immobilization of microorganisms in comparison with traditional ones – by 2-3.5 times; high performance; compactness; the simplicity of construction; ease of operation; low construction and operating costs.

RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:

At the enterprises of food, light, woodworking industries, in fish farms, at water supply and sewer enterprises and individual objects.
