CELLULAR BIOSENSOR FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF AUTOIMMUNE HUMAN PATHOLOGIES

PURPOSE:

The biosensor is designed to determine the microquantities of cytotoxic factors in human serum.

DESCRIPTION:

A highly sensitive cellular biosensor has been developed, which allows one to detect the appearance in the patient’s body of low concentrations (which are difficult to detect by analytical methods) of cytotoxic compounds. The appearance of these cytotoxic compounds in the body triggers a cascade of immunological reactions that lead to the formation of pathologies, in particular myasthenia gravis. The principle of the diagnostic method is based on the fact that cytotoxic compounds interact with the cellular biosensor and lead to a change in its characteristics. The results are processed according to the developed program, and on the basis of this, a conclusion is drawn about the presence of an autoimmune pathology and the stage of its development. Testing time takes from 30 to 60 minutes. For analysis, 50 μl of patient serum is required.
