The installation allows obtaining lactose-free concentrate of almost any capacity with minimal consumption of energy resources. The footprint and costs for such a plant will depend on performance. Full automation of the installation is a guarantee of high-quality indicators of the final product. In contrast to other methods of concentration, the membrane unit allows reducing energy costs by at least 15-20 times due to the absence of a phase transition of the liquid, simplifying the equipment and simultaneously combining two important processes – removing lactose and concentrating the most important components of raw materials. The use of new generation membranes will significantly simplify the process of sanitizing equipment and guarantee the safety of the final product. The total cost of 1 ton of lactose-free lactose-free protein-lipid concentrate obtained at the plant is UAH 17,455.43, the wholesale price of 1 ton (excluding VAT) is UAH 22,500.00, and the profit per ton is UAH 5,044.57. Payback period of investments – 2.93 years.
