Flexible planetary clutch

DESCRIPTION:

The proposed elastic planetary clutch consists of a leading half-coupling in the form of a gear-wheel with internal teeth, and a driven half-coupling in the form of a carrier, on which axles are fixed with movable satellites with cavities installed on them. Radial grooves are made on the ends of the satellites and in the axes. The springs are installed in the cavities, made in the form of spirals of Archimedes, which are fixed with one end in the grooves of the axes, and with the other – in the grooves of the satellites. The movable part of the planetary clutch is covered with a cover. When the torque is transmitted from the shaft to the shaft through the half-couplings, the rotation will be transmitted to the satellites, which rotate around the axes, collect the springs and then the satellites do not circulate – the torque from the driving half-coupling is transferred to the driven half-coupling of the direction. The internal gearing throughout the entire time allows the shafts to rotate in one direction, that is, it excludes the torque of the driven coupling half, and the springs absorb dynamic loads that arise and reduce their influence on the drive parts.

ADVANTAGES:

Reduction of dynamic loads during transmission of torque from the shaft to shaft in drives of construction, hoisting, transport, road, land reclamation and other machines. In the proposed planetary clutch, the reverse torque of the driven shaft is eliminated, and due to this, dynamic loads are reduced.

The developed elastic coupling can be used to connect the shafts of lifting and transport construction, road, land reclamation and other machines.
