The acception of applications for participation in the annual competition “Young Scientist of the Year” is continuous

Until September 1, 2021, applications continue to be accepted for participation in the annual competition for young scientists “Young Scientist of the Year”.

The purpose of the competition is to celebrate the outstanding and significant achievements of young Ukrainian scientists in various fields of knowledge.

The competition is open to Ukrainian scientists, engineers, researchers and innovators from all over the world. Participation in the competition is open to nominees under the age of 35, inclusive, with a higher education of at least the second (master’s) level, or nominees under the age of 40, inclusive, with a doctorate degree. All age groups can take part in the competition, in particular experienced scientists, engineers, researchers and innovators, as well as students who are engaged in scientific activities, graduate students, young scientists and other persons without a degree.

Acceptance of documents is carried out on the official website of the competition.

The competition contains 100 different nominations:

  • 31 nominations concern the popularization of science;
  • 50 nominations dedicated to branches of knowledge;
  • 12 – nominations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
  • 7 – Small Academy of Sciences.

The nominee of the competition will receive: nominee status, a certificate of participation in the competition and participation in the solemn ceremony.

The laureate of the competition will receive: personal advertisement of the laureate, laureate certificate, laureate statuette “Young Scientist of the Year”.
