Spatial steel roofing and slab systems

Purpose:

The development is a system of steel spatial coverings and slabs assembled from modular elements with a purlin length and characterized by a low dead weight.

Area:

During the construction of industrial and civil facilities, in particular, in the city of Kharkiv.

Advantages:

The low dead weight of the structure. Possibility of easy and reliable connection with a reinforced concrete slab due to a special shear linkage system. Allows overlapping spans up to 60 m. Has a standard solution for the nodes of the upper and lower chords.

Description:

Spatial covering (overlap) is a structure formed from flat modular trusses with a length of purlins, installed at an angle of 45 ° to the vertical axis. The structure serves as a jig for assembly and is bolted together with subsequent welding at a minimum number of points. The development has been introduced into production and has been actively used since 2006.
