Ammonia resistive sensor

Purpose:

Detection and control of ammonia content in the environment (in rooms, pipelines), as well as in the food industry for food quality control.

Specifications:

Sensor response time is 50 s, and recovery occurs within 5 min exposure to air.

Area:

Instrumentation.

Advantages:

The development is more than double the existing film-based analogue sensors in key sensory characteristics such as sensitivity, response / recovery time, operating temperature.

Description:

Due to the use of ZnO nanostructures (rather than a film) as a sensitive layer, a large working area of the sensor surface was obtained, which made it possible to increase its sensitivity and reduce the operating temperature. Under the influence of low concentrations of ammonia vapors of 100 ppm, the electrical resistance of the sensor significantly increases, namely, 3 times.
