On May 25-26, 2022, an international student professional creative competition “Competitiveness of entrepreneurial activity” will be held

On the basis of the Mikhail Ostrogradsky Kremenchuk National University, an international student professional creative competition “Competitiveness of entrepreneurial activity” will take place. Applicants for higher education from Ukraine and other countries are invited to participate.

The tasks of the competition are:

  • promoting the development of youth entrepreneurship, attracting young people to entrepreneurial activity;
  • identification of young people willing and capable of entrepreneurship;
  • comprehensive assistance to young future and existing entrepreneurs; increasing their educational level in the field of entrepreneurship;
  • creation of conditions for the implementation of entrepreneurial initiative of pupils and students;
  • increasing competition in the domestic market of Ukraine and supporting the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises in international markets.

The competition will be held in two stages. The qualifying round with “blind” reviewing of works will take place in higher education institutions until April 23, 2022. During the final round (May 25-26, 2022), a public presentation of the competitive works in the format of a video conference will take place, the winners will be determined and awarded with diplomas and certificates. The competition will include such nominations as Business Startups, Innovative Project and Competitiveness of Business Associations and will cover a wide range of topics.

Participants will be able to devote their work:

  • development of entrepreneurial education and start-up movement at Ukrainian universities;
  • creation of appropriate competitive conditions for the development of entrepreneurial activity;
  • building favorable conditions for enhancing entrepreneurial activity and improving the investment climate by consolidating the efforts of all stakeholders;
  • improving the basic business environment;
  • assessing the business climate at the local and national levels;
  • the problem of doing business in the context of COVID-19;
  • creation of a full-fledged startup ecosystem in Ukraine and business incubators at universities.

Students’ works written in Ukrainian or English, which have not been published anywhere before, are accepted for participation. The works should be of a search character and practical orientation, be creative, contain scientific novelty and not contain plagiarism, fabrication and falsification.

The founders of the competition: Department of Business Administration, Marketing and Tourism of Mikhail Ostrogradsky Kremenchuk National University with specialized departments of the Higher School of European and Regional Studios (Czech Republic), the Institute of New Technologies and Business in Czech Budejovice (Czech Republic) and the Wroclaw University of Economics.

The competition is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
