Chemically modified oxide ceramic powders

Purpose:

For energy-saving synthesis of highly dispersed modified powders.

Area:

Optoelectronics, radio engineering; sewage treatment plant.

Advantages:

Powders have high physical, mechanical and thermophysical properties; the photocatalyst can be used to purify drinking water and is environmentally friendly; S-TiO2 photocatalyst 10 times cheaper than commercial Degussa P25 photocatalyst.

Description:

A method for energy-saving synthesis of highly dispersed modified powders is proposed:

    • forsterite, spinel, aluminum-ytrium garnet and obtaining on their basis materials with high electrophysical characteristics, suitable for the manufacture of radio and electrical micro parts;
    • titanium (IV) oxide as a photocatalyst;
    • magnesium hydrosilicate as a filler for polymer composite materials.
