Sensor systems of a new generation have been developed for ecological monitoring of the environment and the quantitative determination of harmful emissions and pollution.
A scientific study of arrays of parallel nanowires has been carried out, which has advantages in the operation of sensors based on a single nanothread. The proposed technologies make it possible to simplify and reduce the cost of manufacturing, as well as to avoid difficulties in the formation of reliable electrical nanocontacts, which is a fundamental technological problem in the production of sensors based on a single nanowire. A highly organized array of sensors minimizes problems associated with the random nature of a system based on randomly organized nanowire bundles and guarantees higher product reproducibility and industrial scalability.
