The analysis of reaction models and mechanisms of electrode deactivation using spectroscopic methods, as well as quantum-chemical modeling of composite nanomaterials, has been carried out. It is planned to study the functionalization of oxidative and chalcogenide nanostructures with controlled crystallinity and morphology, using hybrid methods, to achieve maximum efficiency and selectivity of electrodes in the production of hydrocarbon fuels, as well as based on first principles modeling of CO2 adsorption and catalytic conversion.
