The European Federation of Academies for the Sciences and Humanities ALLEA has partnered with the Breakthrough Prize Foundation to support academic and scientific institutions affected by the war in Ukraine. $1.5 million has been allocated for the program. It will provide funding to academic institutions in Europe to receive temporarily displaced scientists.
The initiative will also benefit affected Ukrainian universities, academies and research institutions in supporting their activities and rebuilding scientific institutions and research communities.
Priority in the selection is given to representatives of the regions affected by the hostilities.
