Brief description, positive qualities, further prospects for application:

The objective of the study is to increase the productivity of sunflower and the efficiency of its cultivation on the basis of identifying the most productive high-oleic hybrids in conjunction with the use of various doses of growth-regulating drugs in the chernozems of the southern Steppes of Ukraine. At the same time, one of the hybrids most adapted to the arid conditions of the south of Ukraine (Oplot, Hector) is sown, and to obtain maximum yield, crops are sprayed in the phase of 6 true leaves with the growth-regulating preparation Architect (2 l/ha). Based on the research, it was found that the sunflower yield is formed at the level of 2.9-3.2 t/ha, the content of oleic acid in the oil of the studied hybrids ranges from 81.1 to 84.3%. Net income and profitability is UAH 19,514. and 143% respectively.
