Brief description, advantages, further prospects for application.
The project is dedicated to the development and research of a new “screw technology for the installation of a horizontal impervious screen under the structure.” The technology makes it possible to lay an impervious screen under a structure that is a source of pollution or flooding, practically without opening the subgrade and stopping the operation of the structure. The patterns of change in the speed of excavation and concreting under different modes of operation of the equipment for grips of different lengths with a device against a filtration screen are determined.
Industrial and agricultural companies are the main sources of underground space pollution in Ukraine. Accumulators and storage facilities for industrial and toxic waste, settling tanks and landfills for municipal solid waste do not always meet modern operational and safety requirements, causing damage to underground space. Existing technologies cannot always provide the necessary protection, especially if there is no aquiclude or solid inclusions in the soil at the achievable depth, or they are expensive.
A technology has been developed for installing a horizontal impervious screen under the structure, which makes it possible to protect the underground space from pollution or flooding of the structure in the absence of water confinement at an achievable depth and the presence of solid inclusions in the soil. The developed constructive technological solutions are confirmed by the title of protection. An analysis of experimental studies helped to determine the optimal operating modes for excavation, depending on the angular speed of the auger, and to determine the optimal modes of concreting sections of the screen, depending on the angular velocity and the rate of solution supply. The developed technological map for the installation of a horizontal screen in conditions of occurrence of an aquiclude at an unattainable depth makes it possible to provide effective protection of structures from flooding in such conditions.
