The event is intended to become a platform for discussing the latest trends and pressing problems that arise when introducing open science practices into research processes. In particular, attention will be paid to modern practices in the evaluation of scientific research and the reward system; quantitative and qualitative research evaluation methods; scientometric indicators; grant system of financing; data sources and tools for scientometric research; open access journals and their funding models; open access policies at the level of institutions, donors, countries; Transformative Publisher Agreements and Plan S; strategies for the development of national scientific periodicals; predatory journals and conferences; developing national infrastructure to support open access; open data and reproducibility of research results; research data management practices; the FAIR principles for research data and research information; the benefits of using persistent identifiers; formats and standards for the dissemination of data and metadata, etc.

The event will take place at two locations:
1st location – October 27-28, 2022 (Open Science in Ukraine),
2nd location – November 2022 (Innovations in Ukraine), dedicated to the International Open Access Week and International Science Day.
