Brief description, advantages, further prospects for application.

Comparison of sterilization methods for wound dressings showed that the sterilizing filtration method does not affect the activity of the enzyme, in contrast to γ-irradiation (residual proteolytic activity 59%). It has been established that iododicerin inhibits the proteolytic activity of peptidase by 67%, while miramistin, furacillin, dioxidin affect within 10% and can be used in the development of dressings with peptidase. It was shown that the immobilization of peptidase on the dressing material promotes a prolonged proteolytic action of the enzyme (6 h, pH 7.5, 37°C), long-term preservation for 12 months. (0-4 °C); the drug is characterized by increased proteolytic activity at acidic (up to 35%) and alkaline (up to 32%) pH values. For the first time, the prospects for the use of peptidase Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis for lysis of wound eschar with ≈48% depth of lysis in 24 hours, while in terms of action on wound eschar in vitro, the enzyme is 2.1 times more effective than papain and 10.3 times more effective than protosubtilin.
