A review of studies by domestic and foreign scientists showed that steel fiber reinforced concrete has physical and mechanical properties that are significantly better than those of traditional concrete, which can be controlled before. However, steel-fiber-reinforced concrete structures are not widely used in domestic construction practice today. The generalized data presented in the literature on the areas of application of steel fiber reinforced concrete in building structures indicate a limited use of fiber reinforcement, with a few exceptions, mainly in load-bearing structures.

These limitations reflect, first of all, the lack of criteria for ensuring structures according to the specified performance characteristics.

In this regard, there is a need for further study of the physical-mechanical, energy and deformation characteristics and the development of promising options for fiber-reinforced concrete to improve their technical and economic efficiency, reliability and operational safety of building and structure structures, and to introduce them into the practice of domestic construction.
