The invention relates to a method for the quantitative determination of ferulic acid in wines, including sampling, separation of ferulic acid, its interaction with chemical reagents and measurement of the analytical signal, in which ferulic acid is separated by thin layer chromatography, subjected to interaction on plates with a nonionic surfactant Neonol 9-12 at pH 6.5-6.7 and measure the luminescence intensity of ferulic acid at lvyp.=485 nm. The method for the quantitative determination of ferulic acid is a useful methodological and technical development and can be used in quality control and food safety.
