Selective tank mix herbicides

Purpose. Protecting sunflower crops from dicotyledonous weeds and preventing the emergence of resistance to herbicides. Agro-industrial creation.

Application area. Agriculture.

Advantages. Combined use with flurochloridone increases the selectivity of flumioxazine, which ensures that sunflower is not oppressed by herbicides and maintains a high level of efficiency in controlling existing annual dicotyledonous weeds. The overlapping action spectra of mixture components with differing phytotoxicity mechanisms, as well as the low prevalence of herbicide resistance of protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitors, help prevent the emergence of resistance and control herbicide-resistant dicotyledonous weed biotypes.

Description. The tank mixture consists of two effective herbicides, one of which, flurochloridone, belongs to the class of carotenoid synthesis inhibitors, and the second, flumioxazine, belongs to the inhibitors of the protoporphyrinogen oxidase enzyme.
