Polarizing microscope with tomographic reproduction of the optically anisotropic structure of biological layers

Purpose. For polarization reproduction of phase and amplitude anisotropy maps; objective assessment of databases within the framework of statistical, correlation and scale-self-similar approaches.

Application area. Biology, medicine, chemistry, pharmaceuticals.

Advantages. Greater yield of homogeneous material; higher resistance (lower detection currents); resistance to radiation.

Description. The development uses a polarizing microscope as a base platform, complemented by blocks of multichannel polarization sensing and analysis of microscopic images of biological preparations. Original algorithms for polarization reproduction of maps of linear and circular birefringence and dichroism with statistical, correlation, fractal, wavelet and Fourier analysis are used.
