Ukrainian startups are offered to enter the British market and investors to visit their project

As part of the UK-Ukraine TechBridge platform, registration has begun for the acceleration program of Ukrainian startups, which will allow them to enter the UK market and present their project to British investors. AIN.UA was told about this by the 1991 Ventures fund, which is implementing the program.

The program includes: workshops, mentoring support from industry experts, legal advice, networking with representatives of the UK startup ecosystem and the opportunity for investors to visit their project during Demo Day at London Tech Week.

Startups that:

  • ready to enter the market or are already being tested by users;
  • have a minimum monthly regular income of £3,000;
  • raised funding from £50,000;
  • have a traction that includes the main stages of product development, customer acquisition, partnerships,
  • financial performance, etc.

You can apply to participate in the accelerator until March 14. You can read more about the program conditions and presentation here.

The organizers write that the UK is an ideal partner for Ukrainian startups looking for scaling opportunities. With more than 1.7 million employees and an annual contribution of more than £150 billion to the economy, the UK’s technology sector is a drain on innovation and growth. The country has the largest number of tech unicorns in Europe and is growing rapidly in tech hubs such as Cambridge, Manchester and Edinburgh.
