Serial production of allogeneic MSCs of animal origin for the needs of veterinary medicine

Purpose. Production of small allogeneic batches of MSCs for scientific research and practical use in veterinary medicine

Specifications. The technology for obtaining MSCs requires a specialized laboratory and appropriate certified equipment and specialists specially trained for this.

Application area. Veterinary medicine, biology, cell engineering, transplantology.

Advantages. The technology for obtaining allogeneic MSCs was developed and adapted to the relevant conditions at NUBIP of Ukraine in 2005 -2022. with government financial support in compliance with requirements oriented to international standards. It involves obtaining allogeneic stem cells from young healthy donor animals, allows you to obtain from one animal and preserve a whole series of stem cells according to previously known characteristics and use them both immediately after receipt and after long-term storage in a cryobank.

Technical and economic effect. The waiting time for the required dose of material is significantly reduced, high-cost reagents are saved in the processes of cultivating and obtaining a pure culture of stem cells, the cost of one therapeutic dose of cellular material is reduced by almost 10 times compared to the dose of cells obtained autogenously. Allogeneic stem cells obtained from young healthy donor animals are safe to use, since they do not have deviations in cytogenetic control for their karyotypic stability.

Description. We obtain stem cells from young healthy donor animals according to appropriate protocols in accordance with temporary technological regulations.
