Purpose. The proposed container allows for preliminary sorting and separate collection of used oil filters by size, separating the used oil with subsequent drainage.
Application area. Customers of such a container can be car service stations, as well as enterprises engaged in the collection, transportation and disposal of used oil filters.
Advantages. The characteristics of the developed container are not inferior to the developed foreign and domestic analogues, which can provide the ability to pre-sort by 2 or more sizes, as well as collect and drain the used oil for further disposal.
Description. The container is made of a metal cylindrical body (barrel) with 2-4 cartridges placed in it, designed to collect different sizes of used oil filters, in the lower part of the structure there is a compartment for receiving the used oil and a tap for draining it. The cartridges are made of a metal mesh with partitions (guides), in which filters are placed on top of each other, gradually filling it. The lower part (bottom) of the cartridge is made in the form of opening flaps with valves. To unload the filters, the cartridge is removed from the container, the flaps are opened and the filters are poured into another container for subsequent disposal. The proposed design of the container for separate collection will solve several problems at once: simplify the process of sorting used oil filters, as well as collecting and draining used oil. Their subsequent disposal will reduce the burden associated with the release of used oil into the environment.
