Thermoanalytical complex for identification of substances by differential thermal analysis

Purpose. The development is intended to solve scientific and production problems in the creation of new and improvement of existing chemical technologies; synthesis of modern functional materials for various purposes and other similar purposes

Scope. The development can be used for fundamental scientific research; in production laboratories for express analysis of the phase composition of input raw materials and finished products, their testing.

Advantages. The advantage of the complex is the use of a precision phase control system for the supply of average thermal energy to the heating zone by a program task of a proportional law over time of the sweep of the value of the reference voltage of the setter.

Description. The development relates to multi-purpose laboratory tools for identifying substances by the heats of phase transformations (melting, boiling, crystallization, polymorphic transitions), thermal decomposition; studying the nature and temperature limits of a number of thermal effects. The operation of the complex is based on the use of a combined differential-thermal method for studying a sample and an indifferent substance. Its working temperature range is determined by the range of values ​​of the use of chromel-alumel (HA) converters up to 1300 oC. High metrological characteristics of the complex are ensured by the use of the HA thermocouple in the negative feedback of the temperature control device.
