Purpose. Bifunctional cathode material of manganese (IV) oxide is intended for modern chemical power sources with an air electrode as an electrocatalyst (Zn-air, Li_air system), as well as an active cathode material (MnO2-Zn system, Leclanche element), a reagent for the synthesis of cathode material.
Scope. To be used in the chemical and food industries, at gas stations, oil depots, fuel and lubricant warehouses, aircraft and auto repair plants.
Advantages. This unit allows for a high degree of purification of fuels and lubricants with relatively low energy costs.
Description. A mobile stand was developed for cleaning heavily contaminated fuels and lubricants, schematic diagram. The liquid to be purified is poured into a supply tank, which is also a cleaning tank. From the tank, the liquid is fed to the electric separator for preliminary cleaning using a centrifugal pump. In the separator, the flow of the liquid being purified is divided into a flow with a lower concentration of contaminants compared to the original. After the electric separator, the liquid with an increased concentration of contaminants returns to the tank for settling and re-purification, and the purified liquid enters the collection tank for clean intake liquid from the upper layer of liquid. The tank also has nozzles for connecting the heat exchanger. The temperature of the liquid being purified in the tank is controlled by a thermometer. In the upper part of the tank, there is a filler neck 3. In the lower part, there is a tap for draining the concentrate of contaminants accumulated in the conical settling tank.
