Advantages. The developed method and device for controlled vacuum heat treatment of steel samples have no analogues in Ukraine and abroad and provide hardening and tempering in one cycle.
Description. A method and device have been developed for controlled vacuum heat treatment of steel samples that have no analogues in Ukraine and abroad and provide hardening and tempering in one cycle. Due to automatic control and regulation of the sample temperature during the entire heat treatment cycle (hardening and tempering), it becomes possible to change the heat treatment rate in the required temperature range. Vacuum heat treatment of steel samples of 20X13, 30X13, 40X13, X12 and other grades was performed. The hardness value in these samples after hardening is 52-54 HRC. During thermal vacuum treatment of steel products, the quality of their surface improves due to the absence of corrosion and there is no change in shape and size. These products do not require additional labor-intensive and expensive mechanical processing. Thus, the economic effect of using the developed method of vacuum heat treatment is obvious. Important from the point of view of the economic effect is the fact that during controlled vacuum heat treatment of steel samples there is no need to use hardening media.
