Description. Keeping in mind the need to improve blood circulation in the lower extremities of patients with diabetic foot syndrome, the main therapeutic factor is light – electromagnetic radiation of the visible and infrared ranges of the spectrum, capable of enhancing microcirculation of blood and lymph, normalizing rheological parameters of the blood, normalizing the functioning of the immune, endocrine. The use of light as a therapeutic factor has no contraindications and does not lead to negative side effects. One of the modifications of the device for treating diabetic foot syndrome is a device consisting of two photonic chambers and designed to illuminate one limb. The main chamber, located horizontally, is made in the form of a rectangular cylinder, the upper wall of which is installed on rotary hinges for ease of placement of the limb. The main chamber usually contains the shin. To illuminate the foot, a vertical attachment chamber is used, made in the form of a rectangular box open on one side. Separate execution of two chambers allows the main camera to be installed not only on the patient’s shin, but also on the knee joint and even on the thigh. This allows restoring blood microcirculation throughout the limb, which makes it possible to use the device to treat other vascular pathologies of the lower limbs of a person caused by circulatory disorders in them.
