IMMUNOENZYMATIC TEST SYSTEM FOR THE TUBERCULOSIS DIAGNOSING

PURPOSE:

Rapid quantification of antibodies to Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis) in serum or blood plasma of cattle (cattle) in order to diagnose infection of cattle with the causative agent of tuberculosis.

DESCRIPTION:

Traditional methods of diagnosing tuberculosis today lack the necessary sensitivity and specificity. The proposed test system is necessary for the timely detection of animals infected with the causative agent of tuberculosis at the herd level, animals with a latent course of tuberculosis, as well as animals with tuberculin allergy, which are latent sources of the causative agent of tuberculosis. All this is very important during the period of health improvement measures and to control the epizootic situation.

ADVANTAGES:

The proposed immunoenzymatic test system includes an immunosorbent made on the basis of M. bovis highly immunogenic and highly specific for antibodies MPB63-MPB83, which simultaneously has antigenic properties of two individual antigens of M. bovis, which increases the sensitivity of the test system. The development of diagnostic tests using recombinant Mycobacterium proteins is promising for their efficiency, low cost, and safety. The test system is affordable, accurate, simple and reliable in operation.
