UFS and CASES have launched a training program for startups

The Ukrainian Startup Fund (UFS), together with the community of creative organizations CASES, launched a free course for startups that plan to participate in the UFS funding program – “Grants of the Ukrainian Startup Fund”. AIN.UA was informed about this in the press service of the fund. The course will be available on July 5, 2021.

What the course is about

It is reported that the purpose of the course is to educate startups about the opportunities that the Foundation provides, as well as to help them better prepare for the pitch. Such training will help teams maximize their chances of getting funding, according to the UFS.

The course consists of four modules:

  • receiving grants;
  • the process of interaction between a startup and the Fund;
  • preparing a pitch;
  • specifics of signing a grant agreement and reporting on a grant.

The tutorial is free and the lessons will take place online on the CASES platform. According to the announcement, it includes 8 stages, 8 video lectures, 10 articles, and self-study instructions. Lecturers are the leading specialists of the Foundation.

In addition, the course includes a list of startup literature, examples of successful pitches and recommendations for preparing a presentation for investors. Upon completion of the course, students will receive an appropriate certificate.

“We were able to approach this course with understanding of both sides – the startup and the Fund. And such a unique position, I hope, will allow Ukrainian startups to prepare more effectively and meaningfully for pitching their idea,” commented Anatoly Popel, founder and head of the CASES platform.

The course will be available on July 5, 2021. Pre-registration is available here.
