Brief description, advantages, further prospects for application.

The proposed development is innovative and primarily meets the practical needs of the use of VHF equipment in water transport. The development is based on the idea of integrating modern navigation aids (AIS, ECDIS, GPS) and VHF/PH/HF radio communication systems into a common control system and displaying current navigation information on a single information display. The paper put forward and technically confirmed the idea of sharing the data of two different systems – a digital selective call and an automatic identification system that solves the urgent problem of the proper operation of the ship’s radio communication equipment by the ship’s watch officer by replacing routine operations with abstract data with understandable quick actions. graphic interface. This way of forming calls can be called SMART (quick, efficient, understandable) CVP.

A method has been developed for automatic identification of radiotelephone transmissions in maritime communications using digital watermark technology as a means of determining the authenticity of data and protecting intellectual property copyrights. The development does not require the replacement of standard ship equipment and the use of any other radio channel resources and ensures full compatibility with existing ship equipment and current radio communication operational procedures. Unlike the well-known Automatic Transmission Identification System (ATIS), the developed AI-CVD method has clear advantages over ATIS:

identification of the transmitting station is carried out from the very beginning of switching on the transmission mode, and not after the end of the voice message and switching off the transmission, as in ATIS;
in addition to identification data, the method allows the covert transmission of other information that can be used for reasons of navigational security or in the event of terrorist threats.

The novelty of the development is confirmed by 4 patents for the invention of Ukraine.

Technical and operational indicators since the establishment of radio communications are at the level of the best world analogues.
