Ukrainians can apply for a competition for eco-startups. Prizes up to 10,000 euros

Ukrainian startups can apply for participation in the ClimateLaunchpad competition for eco-businesses. You can register on the competition website, applications will be accepted until June 20, 2023.

  • In Ukraine, this contest is being implemented by Greencuator for the eighth year. According to the organizers, this is the largest English-language competition in the world for start-ups in this field.
  • Ukrainian projects can be submitted for participation if they work in the following topics:
    • Sustainable Mobility – ideas accelerating the transition to clean energy mobility models.
    • Circular Economies – innovative solutions based on the principles of restoration and rational use of resources.
    • Urban Solutions – business solutions for communities aimed at decarbonizing the urban environment, combating climate change in cities.
    • Clean Energy – ideas for energy storage, smart grids, integration of wind, solar and bioenergy, carbon dioxide capture, reduction of CO2 emissions in chemical and others.
    • Food Systems – business ideas for climate-smart food production on a global level.
    • Adaptation & Resilience – This topic focuses on ideas that provide products or services that build responsiveness and resilience to climate change.
    • Blue Economy – ideas that benefit the economy and society without harming the oceans and coastal areas.
    • The Next Big Thing – a revolutionary technology with the potential to create a massive global impact for this topic.
  • The best projects will be selected to participate in a multi-day intensive bootcamp in preparation for the national final. Its winners will be able to follow their ideas at the regional final, and from there the best startups will go to the global final, where they will compete for prizes up to 10,000 euros and training in the ClimateLaunchpad accelerator.
