Technology of functional drinking water with the addition of plant extracts

Purpose. To obtain water, the technology makes it possible to obtain functional drinking water with a reduced OOP indicator and the addition of plant extracts for people of different ages, as well as for men and women with different levels of mental or physical stress.

Specifications. Functional drinking water containing artesian water as a basis, as well as silver ions, succinic acid, citric acid, dry water-soluble extract of milk thistle seeds and dry water-soluble extract of lemon balm leaves per 1 dm3 of water, g: succinic acid – 0.3 0, 5; citric acid – 0.02-0.04; silver ions – 0.001-0.003; dry water-soluble milk thistle seed extract – 0.1-0.2; dry water-soluble extract of lemon balm leaves – 0.05-0.1.

Application area. Food and processing industry

Advantages. The main advantage of the technology of functional drinking water with the addition of plant extracts compared to existing technologies is the balanced composition of the water and the presence of one or more functional “active” components that can influence health, endurance, adaptation to various conditions and a person’s mood.

Technical and economic effect. When used in an enterprise with a capacity of 15.6 m3/h, the cost of the product will be 2277488 UAH/year, the profit will be 1759792 UAH/year, the profitability of the product will be 77.3%

Description. The technology of functional drinking water with the addition of plant extracts includes the following operations: artesian water is disinfected and oxidized with ozone, filtered using mechanical-catalytic and carbon filters. According to the developed recipe, the necessary components are dosed into the storage container and mixed with a mechanical stirrer. Before spilling, water is disinfected with ultraviolet light.
