On June 18, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Round Table “Collecting Evidence Using Artificial Intelligence” will take place

Organizers are the National Bar Association of Ukraine and the State Institution “Institute of Economic and Legal Research named after V.K. Mamutov of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.”

Event moderators: NAAU representative in Scotland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Alexander Chernykh and Scottish lawyer Kenneth Young.

The event will begin at 13:00 Kyiv time (11:00 London time) online and will be broadcast on the Zoom platform and on the NAAU Facebook page.

The round table is aimed at discussing the latest technologies in collecting evidence, using them in trials, challenges facing lawyers and Ukrainian science in the field of using artificial intelligence by lawyers, discussing possible changes in the legislation of Ukraine that would ensure compliance with the principle of the rule of law and meet the requirements of technological development

Hanna Udovenko – lawyer of the legal department of the legal department of the department for supporting the activities of the Secretariat of NAAU, RAU, expert on legal regulation of the use of artificial intelligence (Ukraine);

Tatyana Gudima – Doctor of Law, senior researcher, deputy head of the department of problems of modernization of economic law and legislation of the State Institution “Institute of Economic and Legal Research named after V. K. Mamutov NAS of Ukraine”, member of the Coordinating Scientific Council of the NAS of Ukraine on Artificial Intelligence (Ukraine), Chairman of the Donetsk Coordination Scientific Center for Artificial Intelligence.

1. Use of artificial intelligence algorithms for analysis and collection of evidence in criminal proceedings.

2. Features of collecting evidence using artificial intelligence in civil and economic cases.

3. Procedural registration and recording and the advantages of using artificial intelligence in the work of a lawyer.
