Method of inhibiting the development of radiation burns of the skin by autotransplantation of fibroblasts

Purpose. To slow down the development and algorithm of further treatment of local X-ray burn of the 3rd degree by volumetric transplantation of autofibroblasts

Scope. Medicine. Oncology departments, centers, hospitals.

Advantages. At the level of the best world analogues. It has been shown that with such a treatment algorithm, the total area of the radiation burn decreases by 33%, the area of the radiation ulcer – by 90% and significantly slows down the destruction of the connective tissue matrix in the burn zone – the amount of degraded collagen decreases by 57%, native collagen by 15%, native collagen by 15%, native collagen by 5% increases.

Description. A new method for inhibition of development and an algorithm for further treatment of local third-degree X-ray burns using volumetric transplantation of autofibroblasts was developed using a guinea pig model and the following results were obtained: 1. It was shown that the maximum viability and metabolism required for inhibition of OMs can be stored in liquid nitrogen in a medium with 70% DMEM, 20% fetal serum and 10% DMSO for a long time without losing their metabolic activity; 2. It was proven that the most optimal method for inhibiting local damage is deep introduction (to a depth of 1 mm) into the irradiation zone at an angle of 450 to its center of 6 subcutaneous injections. Each injection has a volume of 100 μl and contains a suspension of (200-210)×103 autofibroblasts with a live cell content of 80-85%; 3. It was found that the most optimal method for inhibiting local damage is the introduction of autofibroblasts after 1 hour, and then every 24 hours after irradiation for 21 days.
