Purpose. For use in the production of beverages for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
Scope. Medicine, pharmacy.
Advantages. The present invention differs from its analogues in that drying is carried out at a subzero temperature of the raw material, while the pressure in the sealed volume is maintained within the range of 3.4 to 0.1 mm Hg and the condensation surface temperature is maintained within the range of -120 to -186 °C; the condensation surface is cooled with liquid nitrogen and the condensate is collected until 20 to 30% of the raw material moisture is released.
Description. The essence of the invention is to obtain a biologically active substance of plant origin by drying crushed plant material under vacuum in a sealed volume and collecting volatile components on the cooled condensation surface. This method makes it possible not to reduce the evaporation of raw material moisture and aromatic components during the drying process, and also, when cooling the condensation surface, to create conditions for the condensation of moisture on it and almost the entire amount of aromatic components that have the greatest value in the biologically active substance. In this case, moisture condenses in the hard phase, which helps to increase the biological activity of the finished product. The method can be used in the production of beverages for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
