Technology for increasing the transformation of feed nutrients into livestock products for fattening young animals

Purpose. To activate metabolic processes in the body of young cattle and increase meat productivity of animals.

Technical specifications. The technology provides for the complex use of chelated microelement methionates and lysinates in the second period of feeding young cattle, at the rate of 0.025 mg Fe, 0.01 mg Se, 0.025 mg I per 1 kg of live weight. for the body, higher bioavailability of feed nutrients, which affects the increase in growth intensity and the production of more beef with increased energy and biological value with improved nutritional qualities.

Scope. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries, agriculture, hunting and related services, animal husbandry, growing and breeding cattle for meat.

Advantages. A method for increasing the transformation of nutrients in beef by introducing lysinates and methionates of chelated microelements into the diet when the feed for the Bugayts is not balanced in microelements is proposed.

Technical and economic effect. The technology takes into account the regional specifics of the nutritional value of feed and allows calculating the doses of introducing chelated microelements when enriching with amino acids in farms for fattening young cattle, which are used in feeding animals. bulls by 5-12% and get 12-21% more high-quality beef. As a result, this increases the overall profitability of beef production at the level of 12-18%.

Description. An analysis of the mineral composition of feeds used in farms of the Vinnytsia region for feeding the Bugayts of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed was carried out. copper, iron, selenium, in various proportions. (cattle) that use their own feed in their diet with a deficiency of important microelements (zinc, cobalt, iodine, manganese, copper, iron, selenium), which requires additional introduction of these microelements into the diets of bulls in the form of special mineral supplements of better quality.
